Multilingual Readiness Score
A free check of how well your store's language versions are set up for search engines and AI search. It reads a few public pages and gives you a score out of 100, with what to fix.
Checks your homepage and up to three of its language versions. It respects robots.txt and stores nothing. Takes about 10 seconds.
How the score works
Every check is deterministic and runs on the public HTML of your pages. No AI is involved and nothing is saved. A store with only one language scores low by design: the score measures how ready your store is to rank in more than one language.
| Check | Points |
|---|---|
| Translated titles, meta descriptions and H1s | 25 |
| More than one language version published | 20 |
| Valid hreflang (codes, self-reference, x-default) | 15 |
| Page language declared (<html lang>) | 10 |
| Reciprocal hreflang between versions | 10 |
| Image alt text on the homepage | 10 |
| Each language version is its own canonical | 5 |
| No client-side translation script | 5 |
A good score means your language versions are technically discoverable. It doesn't guarantee rankings, which depend on many other factors.
